My Dear Henry

My Letter <1> being gone to the post, I recollected in my way here that I had made a great mistake in it & said Deputy Lieutenant instead of Magistrate, but I conclude you have no objection not being obliged to act, nor even expected except at the Sessions at Chippenham, <2> & it was in your own house that you said you never would do. at any rate you cannot when in Parliament be expected to attend therefore I hope I have decided right as Lord L <3> – settled it this Morning with Ld Brougham. <4>
