I have just received from Sir Henry Rawlinson the letter of which I enclose a copy, <1> and in accordance with your request have much pleasure in transmitting to you this day by the Great Western Railway, a parcel containing a copy of the Tiglath Pileser and Sennacherib Inscriptions.

My dear Panizzi
Mr. Fox Talbot’s Note<2> is quite satisfactory and you can accordingly send him at once the two rolls of Lithographed Inscriptions with Mr Butler,<3> one of Tiglath Pileser’s, and the other of Sennacherib’s.- These are the only two yet finished, but several others are nearly ready
