Many Thanks for your packet of Drawings <2> which I will dispose of according to your Request I shall have much pleasure in distributing the Copies of your Publication on Genesis <3> in Oxford if you will direct your Bookseller to send them to me there as I leave Town at 3 this Afternoon
My interview with you yesterday had led to the important result of Capt Ross <4> taking out several Cameræ to make Photogenic drawings of scenery &c which he may visit. No one had suggested this till I came to the committee. I have taken the liberty to give the Naturalist of the Expedition an Introduction to you
& remain your much obliged & honbl srvt
