My dear Sir,
I shall be very glad to see the sheets of your Glossary <1> as they come from the printer. The first part has in many cases afforded me an excellent hint. It would be very convenient if you were to attach an index of all the words explained by you, arranged in alphabetical order at the end. I have found it useful to make such a one for your Part II. and I have included in it any words you treat of incidentally.
The Printer sent me on Saturday last a continuation of my clean sheets from page 408 to page 480 – 72 pages. If you like to have them I will send you a set in continuation of those I sent before. I can get them from the printing-office at a moment’s notice. I am getting on with my work in spite of old age, though I can hardly ever expect to complete the book, unless I live till 80 at the least. I have in type, [not corrected yet] to page 504, containing the first pages of letter K.
I am Dear Sir Yours faithfully
Edwin Norris
