My dear Sir

I have just received your letter & write one line to say that Mr Williams left Ashelworth <1> to-day for a few days - indeed, does not return till Friday - Mrs Williams, however, is there, but you will probably defer your visit till his return - I shall probably return home myself on Wednesday or Thursday week

The prospective Change as far as I have yet heard, has not affected the return of any one of our party -

I very much regret that I shall not see, myself, the development of your little boys mind & character (as I have done in so many others) - for he makes a very favourable impression in the little glimpse I had of him - Should he join us, however, I shall yet make a little acquaintance with him & my interest in him, & his future welfare, I am sure I shall retain

I beg my kind regards to Mrs Talbot & remain My dear SirYrs Very Sincerely

H A S Atwood
