Dear Sir,

I paid Gale’s ^<1> Bill Phelps’ ^<2>, and Fortescue’s, but am waiting for M^r Briarsden’s Report as to Bank’s and the question about the fixing of Hazard’s Apparatus – I paid £300 to M^rs Talbot’s ^<3> Account at the Melksham Bank and will send you all the Bills immediately I have been able to settle with Banks ^<4>.

Have you Hazard’s Estimate? Banks says it only includes the Smiths Work in fixing – and the Mason’s – Gale could not find the Estimate and thought you might have kept it –
