Dear Sir,

Your note has been forwarded to me here – I expect to be at home on Friday when I will endeavor to see Mr Breach who gives the notice you send me. Mary Hudd rents the Cottage in question of your Tenant of Wick Farm – and I conclude he must want it for one of his Laborers, still he is a very reasonable Man and I have no doubt will readily attend to your wishes on the subject – Mary Hudd told me some months ago that Farmer Breach wanted her Cottage for one of his own Men but as he had not served her with any forward notice I hoped he had given up the idea of taking it – I will attend to it immediately on my return.

I am Dear Sir Yours obliged

West Awdry
