Dear Sir,

I will endeavor to get the Purchasers Solicitor to examine the Deeds at Messrs Bolton’s <2> as you suggest. The piece of land agreed to be sold is specified in the Deeds in question – it was formerly held on lease for lives, all now extinct, and I shall have to trouble you for access to your Muniment Room for the lease which I believe is there.
