17 April 1868

Dear Sir

I will take an Early opportunity of explaining to your Tenant at Nethermore <1> the arrangement you have made with Lord Lansdowne <2> respecting the shooting over his Farm. I propose to hold your Audits on the 27th and 28th inst I hope you have had better accounts of Mrs Talbot <3> – I was very sorry to hear she had been unwell.
