Sir
As in the course of the Autumn I may expect a little leisure, and think it possible that your process may in some measure attract my attention. It is necessary that question asked last summer but which You did not answer on account of some views of Your own, whether in the event of my becoming sufficiently expert You would give me liberty to use Your process of Photography on Steel, should be again repeated
You have had my unreserved opinion of the causes of Your falling short of a perfect result, to attain which even a practised etcher must no doubt at the outset meet with difficulties totally distinct from those You have encountered and overcome
I never heard if You saw the proofs at Mr Brookers – they promised well if the individual had gone on
May I call your attention to a little account of £1• 16• for Book plate and numerous Proofs
Most Respectfully Yr Ot St
Geo Barclay
