Dear Sir,
Many Thanks for your Assyrian Glossary which will prove a very useful aid to beginners. As I see Mr Smith daily the copy you have kindly sent him shall be given him. He has made great progress in the study and as Lepsius said of him understands well the ‘microscopism’ of it. The inscriptions are progressing and the new volume will be ready in about two or three months Mr Coxe is very bad and his leg is in a dangerous condition but with a naturally strong constitution may rally.<1> The 1st Part of Mr Norris’ dictionary is just out
Believe me Dear Sir Yours Vy Truly
