My dear Sir
As the notices of the early meeting in November are set up and you have kindly promised us a paper on the Assyrian religions you will find enclosed notice which will I hope meet with your approval – and the time will probably suit you. Should you have the kindness just to look over it and <ill. del.> return it with any observations to Mr W. R. Cooper 13 Lincolns Inn Fields W. C. Mr Cooper is about to leave town in a few days. and it is desirable to issue the notices to the public press which go out before those to the members. It is not yet printed and awaits your <illeg> as Ganneaus will be deferred till the next meeting in December – as we desire to give yours the precedence. Believe me
Yours very truly
