My dear Sir.

I hope the object of the accompanying book will meet with your & M^rs Talbot’s approval. Last year we had the children & old people to tea in the Vicarage orchard & then adjourned to Bank’s field for sports. We propose the same plant this year. if we can have the field as it was found to work well last year.

The children always look forward with anxiety about this time – to hear if the <Frock?> is coming – I have sent the Book for your approval before sending it round to the last year subscribers.
