Sir

We are favored with your letter of yesterday enclosing 5 Birmingham & Oxford Junction shares which we have sold with all the remaining shares in our hands (excepting the Dublin & Galway) as stated on the other side. The Dublin & Galway we have sent to the offer in Dublin desiring to send direct to yourself the amount returned. We should be obliged by your stating what we are to do with the proceeds of the shares

With regard to the Coventry & Nuneaton shares, a trifle more might have been obtained had you exchanged them for new shares. but as this would have involved your signing the new deed & a further advance on the shares we have held them on their scrip shape which exonerates you from all liability

We are Sir Your most obed Servants
James Capel Norbury Trotter & Co <1>
