Dear Henry

We are to quit this on the 7th of September, for the Eastern Part of the Country, where we are to remain for the rest of the Month. – Any time you can give to us, before that period pray do. – The weather at present, makes us rather anxious about the Harvest; but you will have a chance of seeing our Waterfall in Neath Valley not wanting in an essential supply, that at this season of the Year they all go generally without.

Yours always faithfully

Chrisr Cole.

All here tolerably well and send their love. – Jane <1> is better, & in no danger.

Notes:

1. Jane Harriot Nicholl, née Talbot (1796–1874).
