My dear Henry

I have heard in a round about way that you are coming to Glamorgan soon. now I shall tell you how the land lies that I may come in for a proper share of you. Isabella <1> is expecting to be confined every day & Mary <2> is staying with her this makes an uncertainty when I can get her home here – Charlotte <3> is just come home from her London expedition & you will probably find her. I am at home & shall be except when I am called upon about the middle of May to attend Emma <4> in her confinement – now I think if you do not mind the Steam packet you had better embark at Bristol any day that it sails early & then you would reach Swansea in 8 or 9 hours (and perhaps less) & come here at once. then when I go, Mary will be here, which will do as well & from hence you can arrange your visits to the other end of the county &c &c only let me have the first part if you come soon. I hear that your mother <5> is soon expected but it will be long before I shall see her I am afraid – however we are to go to Cowes in July & that sometimes brings us across our friends in England – my flower garden is as gay as it is possible at this minute notwithstanding the very uncongenial weather that is still existing. pray give my kind love to Mrs Talbot <6> & tell her how much I shall like to see her here.

Your aff Aunt
