I beg to send you the Report I got up of our Co, but as it is not intended for public distribution I must request you will treat it as a private communication – You have not yet favor^d me with the price you would take for your Ore in Boat perhaps you will kindly inform me per return I may as well state however that our Co is precluded buying ore within 10 miles of Seend therefore if I arranged with you it would <be> on account of other parties in Staffordshire

If you could put in Boat such quality as you sent me at from 3 to 4/ per Ton I may be able to dispose of a good quantity or if you will place it on Rail I could give you more – It is the transit that brings up the price to the consumer.

I will endeavor to look in at the Pits the first opportunity
