My Dear Sir

I enclose a report of our Meeting on the 4^th instant. and am in one respect much annoyed at the little notice which is there taken of your very interesting paper of which the title alone is inserted. How this has happened I know not as a full account with an extract was sent to the editor, probably the articles in “Nature” and the Academy will be less abbreviated. Curiously enough also, the names of D^r Birch as President, and that of <canon?> Cook as visitor are also omitted
