Dear Sir

I have to thank you for your very interesting paper which shall be duly laid before the council on the 6th inst

You will see in our Journal a part of the same Tablet translated by Mr Smith but which without your essay and exegesis is unsatisfactory May I suggest that the text should be given in Assyrien as in your previous papers, and that the quotations from Berosus Herodotus might come in in full –

I remain Dear Sir Yours faithly
