Bagsters <1> are urging on your translations with all speed, the Sargina is all safe, but not having passed through my hands first has been overlooked this I am very sorry for
The Assyrian Classes will begin in February 75. and extend till the close of the following April. Mr Sayce <2> is preparing a grammar which will soon be in the printers hands. The entire liability of expence as concerns these classes will be met by a guarantee fund of 100£ twenty gentlemen subscribing 5/- each. Those who have subscribed are already

May I ask if you will kindly assist us in this undertaking as all deficiencies in the sums guaranteed will have to be met by myself. Dr Birch, Mr Sayce Mr Renouf, <6> and all of us are working entirely gratuitously but there are preliminary expenses which must be met viz 21 £ for rent of rooms alone and 10£ for printing & postage
