My Dear Sir
I enclose <1> a copy of a letter which I have just received from Mess Bagster & Sons <2> respecting a French edition of the Records of the Past. <3> Personally I am inclined to assent to the proposition contained therein as it will serve to give a European publicity to your valuable labours in the cause of Archaeology.
Of course the translations will be submitted to you for approval and emendation, and the copyright will as before rest with the Authors of the papers
I remain
My Dear Sir
Yrs faithfully
W. R. Cooper
