My dear Sir

I am afraid you will think me very troublesome in the way of plans but I much want, if you can supply me with it, a tracing of the land adjoining you on the north side being the land between Tacklemore Wood & your Nethermore farm; with the names of the owners if there be any other than Mr Starkey

The fact is there is great difficulty in the tramway & as at present advised the route by the public path cannot be made available & if I understand rightly none of the land on the north side of that road belongs to you am I not right as to this according to the plan you were good enough to send me?

Yours faithfully
G Cottrell
