I cd not make an alteratn in the toll payable for the railway or tramway if constructed at the further end of the parish for although the it is a better line ^in most respects, & especlly in an enging pt of view, it would oblige me to build a new bridge over the Avon which wd be very expensive – & also to cross the turnpike road by a bridge or a tunnel. I have not had an estimate made, but it will certly require a large outlay. – I am digging another new pit on the hill, some distance from the others, to assist in giving a complete idea of the to complete our the knowledge of the ore formation wch I are have already obtaind – it will also be of advantage to your Engineer when he comes –

I could not make an alteration in the toll payable for the railway or tramway if constructed at the further end of the parish for although the it is a better line in most respects, and especially in an engineering point of view, it would oblige me to build a new bridge over the Avon which would be very expensive – and also to cross the turnpike road by a bridge or a tunnel. I have not had an estimate made, but it will certainly require a large outlay. – I am digging another new pit on the hill, some distance from the others, to assist in giving a complete idea of the to complete our the knowledge of the ore formation which I are have already obtained – it will also be of advantage to your Engineer when he comes –
