Sir
I have been informed that you have recently made an important discovery in Photographic printing; and as my connection with the Society as its secretary will shortly cease I venture to write to you offering my services either as an agent or in any way to bring the discovery before the public. I intended to devote myself to the subject of Photographic printing, when my present engagement ceased, as a matter of business; and I should have consequently ample time and opportunity, of carrying out anything that you might confide to me –
I remain Sir Your obedt Servt
