Dear Sir
I have myself only just returned from a trip into the country or would have earlier acknowledged the receipt of your letter. I shall return back on Friday for a week or two and after then hope to have no more interruptions for some time when I hope to acquire a little more experience in your new art as I am desirous of printing some of my photographs of the solar spectrum by its means. I am glad you are now going to devote some time to the improvement of Photoglyphy as I do not doubt that it will before long become a very important branch of the art. I have not had time yet to communicate with Petter & Galpin respecting the letter you have addressed them but am going there tomorrow morning to see it.
Believe me truly yours
William Crookes.
