En reponse à votre honorée du 15 courant, j’ai l’honneur de vous faire savoir que je pourrais vous livrer l’heliostat de Silbermann que vous m’avez fait l’honneur de me demander vers la fin d’avril, je ferais tous mes efforts pour avancer le terme mais je crois qu’il faut bien que vous comptiez jusqu’à la fin du dit mois.
Quant à l’execution de cet appareil, je vous repond Monsieur qu’il ne laissera rien a desirer sous aucun rapport et j’ose esperer que vous en serez satisfait.

In reply to yours of the 15th instant, I have the honour to inform you that I could deliver Silbermann’s heliostat, which you did me the honour of requesting, around the end of April. I would do everything in my power to advance that date, but I think that you will have to wait until the end of said month for it.
As for the execution of this instrument, my reply to you, Sir, is that it will leave nothing to be desired, and I would like to hope that you will be satisfied with it.
