Saturday –

My dear H.

Here I am – and as no letter came from you to me before my departure I am still in ignorance of your intentions & plans – which ignorance I beg you will be pleased to enlighten forthwith – I am just arrived & can tell you no more that [sic] the Papers of what is going on – I had however the good luck to see the Queen <1> going down to the H. of Lords & the only opinion I can as yet pronounce is that she is grown very old & ugly –

By the time your answer comes, I shall know more decidedly about my house &c & when I shall be able to go back

I left them all quite well

God bless you
C.F.
