Not to keep you in suspense about your MSS - I must tell you Wright <1> had them very safe. He understood he was only to pack up those you pointed out. I have now locked them up. I send by this post a letter franked St Vincent <2> which I warn you of, lest in the confusion Newcastle must be in, you should miss it. Pray continue to write whenever you have time. I received yours from Malvern <3> & Manchester.
By a letter do day from Caroline <4> we find that Constance <5> is happily disposed of at Markeaton <6> till your scientific meeting is at an end
