Mr Kendrick <1> is very sorry the oil of peppermint you desired, was forgot in the Medecine <sic> Chest, & he intends sending it up by me – in case you are not gone.

I think you would like Tincture of Ginger much better. Likewise I must own con vergogna <2> that the lump of Camphor was forgot – I entreat you immediately to make Nicole <3> put one into the empty vial with some water & puis c’est fait, <4> & will keep on good as you consume it, by only filling up with water. Now do this pray pour l’amour de moi <5> – we expect a letter from you tomorrow with an acct of the Horticult
