My dear Mother
I had a very prosperous journey, notwithstanding its being the 13th of the month and also Friday. We went from station to station in 3 hours 9 minutes.
Moore <1> is still in town.
The enclosed letter for Mrs M.C. has been following me. Pray not to enclose any more. I suppose it is a device to save a penny by inflicting it on me.
Your affte
Henry
