My Dear Henry

Emma <1> arrived like magic before I had time to remember she was gone, & brought me your specimens & only No 3. from Longman <2> I was perfectly astonished to find she had been in Paternoster Row, where I never was! Longman told her he had not got No 4. Is not that a great shame? I write this on purpose to let you know Longman’s delinquencies before you leave town, that you may take measures while you are on the spot, to reprimand him. Probably he makes the same answer to many
