Thanks for your enquiries after my foot, which turned out much better than I expected, for it did not hinder my dancing at Almacks, <1> nor yesterday at Ly Rendleshams <2> – Pray keep some roses for me, I shall take it so unkind if they are all gone when I arrive. We are all in un mar di confusione <3> preparatory to the ball – very unlike the quiet shades of Laycock.
Addio, give my love to Constance <4> & the wee things & the enclosed programme to Amandier <5> – it may divert her. Please some of you write soon –
