1. Athenaeum Club, Pall Mall, London: WHFT’s club; a gentleman’s club composed primarily of artists and scientists.

2. There was an arrangement between WHFT and the London Photographic Society that allowed free use of any photographic process covered by WHFT’s patents, as long as it was not applied to commercial portraiture. [See Doc. No: 06999].
