Dear Sir,
Referring to our conversation yesterday we now beg to send herewith our account Current with you to the present date with the Vouchers. We find the balance is £13·6·6 in our favor arising partly from the £6·/ paid for the fire Insurance and partly from the expence of completing your title in the Register of Sasines.
The Policy of Insurance is in the possession of Messrs Dalmahoy & Wood W.S. <2> Agents for the lender of the £3000, & the policy iteself was the Voucher for the first premium, so that we only got Messrs Dalmahoy & Woods acknowledgement for it. But in time coming, the renewal receipts by the Insurance Co will be delivered to us.
We are Dear Sir Yours very faithfully
J & H G Gibson
