I hasten to answer your kind note. I don’t think there will be any need for you to put yourself to any trouble as to seeing me
The matter is very simple No one can come before me that you do not approve of. When any one does so come, I will make due enquiry, and, if he be all right, will readily institute him I have been very grieved by the intelligence. I am very sorry that you had the trouble of writing two letters
