58 Ladbroke Grove Park W
January 5 1877
Sir
The Portrait to which I referred is an Engraving in Colour by Bartolozzi a facsimile of the original drawing by Holbein in her Majestys possession.<1>
The name of Sir W Shorrington (William Sharrington) <2> was written across the Portrait when the drawings were found in Kensington Palace nearly 100 years since and the authenticity of the Portrait has not been questioned
My Copy is mounted in the same way as the Original drawings and in a black frame similar to those in which they were exhibited at Kensington Palace before their removal to Windsor.
The size of the frame is [blank space]
the price I ask for my Copy delivered to your address – will be 35/.
Waiting your reply I am
Sir< Yr obed: Sert
