Dear Sir,
In your letter of the 14th Febry you say just that I should send you a draught of a Memorial to the Trustees of the British Museum which you kindly said you would shew to some of them privately. I have written out a memorial which may be either presented as it is (in case it meets the approbation of those to whom you shew it) or returned to me for reconsideration. In the latter case the objections to it may be stated on the fly leaf.
