Dear Sir,
I think the value tal of unquestionable – I have found tal.la.ku for the second person singular of the future in some [illegible] as ti.ib.bi.vu
It is used also for dal – perhaps [hebrew] in the proper name of a king (cf. Botta 147.80 & 74.6) – I am sure I have found it in other words but do not recollect where. Besides is it not so valued in the Syllabaries?
Would my paper at the last meeting of the Br. Assn be printed – or even the abstract of it, which I drew up for publication, you will see that I build a good deal on this value: & I have long regarded it as absolutely certain.
Yours vy truly
