Stansfield Mill
March 31st 1836.
Sir.
In answer to your letter of the 27th <1> I beg to say I am not in any immediate want of more workpeople of the description you mentioned, though it is possible I may be by & bye. & in that case I should prefer a family most numerous in children from 12 to 20 yrs old.
The family of Baines continue to do well to the entire satisfaction (apparently) of all parties.
I am Sir
Your mo hbe Sert
John Jellicorse
Since the Baines came I have had 5 or 6 families from Norfolk & Suffolk & some fm Wiltshire.
