Dr Sir
I have examined the parcel of negatives (11 large and 27 small) which I purchased from you last, and I find that they bear the following marks
Large | Small | ||
A | 5 | A | 23 |
B | 6 | B | 2 |
11 | C | 2 | |
27 |
The value therefore of those amounts to as under
5 large A | – | 5ּ | 5ּ | 0 |
6 Do B | – | 3ּ | ||
23 small A | – | 8ּ | 1ּ | |
2 Do B | – | 9 | ||
2 Do C | – | 7 | ||
17ּ | 2 |
Henneman <1> has just returned you the negatives you sent him last May I hope you have recd them safe. Of these I have retained the following ones – 6 Large 4 Small
Viz. Nos | 174 | 29 |
183 | 36 | |
190 | 43 | |
192 | 55 | |
200 | ||
202 |
No letter being marked on these, I have supposed them all to bear the letter A, and the value of them therefore is
6 large A | – | 6ּ6ּ0 |
4 small do | – | 1ּ8 |
7ּ14 |
The amount of these sums therefore is
17 | ּ2 | ּ0 |
7 | ּ14 | ּ0 |
24 | ּ16 |
From this has to be deducted Henneman’s account against you which I have Enclosed viz. £6 ּּ11ּּ10 leaving a balance due to you of £18ּּ4ּּ2 for which I will send a cheque in another letter.
Revd C. Jones
