Serjeants Inn Fleet Street
21 April 1825
Dear Sir,
I have perused and return you the Agreement which appears to contain only the usual provisions in the Leases of Chambers in Albany. In addition to the Rent You will have to pay the Taxes, & to insure the Apartments for £800 in the Trustees names; to paint the outside once during the term & to keep in repair. The expence of the Agreement is to be borne by You & in case of a Lease being granted, which is not usual a necessary, the costs also of that devolve upon You –
I hope you left Lady Elizth, & Captn Feilding <1> with all the Family quite well & that you enjoy good Health. I am obliged by your kind enquiry & am grateful for the continued enjoyment of a tolerably fair share of Health.
I am Dr Sir Your much obliged very ob Serv
W R King
W. H. F. Talbot Esqr
