My dear Henry – I am beginning to be in an ecstacy with some – the dear little Coronilla minima is a perfect beauty & I found yesty in the Valley de [Morgnun?], an Astragalus (I suppose) which is quite beautiful. The Col de Tende was absolutely dry but the Primula marginata begins [text missing] <1> [sprout?] out of the crevices.

I have never seen yr friends the Coris <2> yet.
