My dear Henry

I have got a small box ready to pack up a little present which I wish to send for your dear Matilda <1> on her approaching wedding – where shall I direct it? it is about 6 inches square. If I send it to Lacock will you take it on to her, or is the wedding to take place at her own home?

We have been here 3 months and are sighing for our gardens & woods – My dear Thereza <2> was moved to her husband’s family home yesterday & I hope she will regain her strength in the country & soon be able to join us at Penllergare <3> – where we hope to be next week – You will be sorry to hear the Chr <4> is very anxious about dear Olive <5> who has had an attack of Scarlet fever at Margam <6> and does not get over it well – I have seen many relations and friends here, but London has been very empty, they are only now come up & we are going! so I have had but a peep. I hear that Jane <7> thinks of coming to Genoa by sea & then hopes to “coast’ along by the corniche road on land! Edward Nicholl <8> is gone to assist them –

Give my kind love to Rosamond & Ela <9> & remember me most kindly to Mrs Talbot <10>

Believe me yr most affte cousin
Emma Llewelyn
