I have been requested by the Council of the Edinburgh Photographic Society to inform you that they would esteem it an honor to be permitted to offer you their tribute of gratitude for the services you have rendered to Photography by proposing you as an Honorary Member of the Society.
I take leave to enclose in proof a statement of the history and Objects of the Society which will explain its Constitution and mode of Management.
