Knutsford, East Cliff,
Bournemouth.
April 1st 1877.
Dear Mr. Talbot,
In fulfilment of my promise I send you a copy of my essay on Troy <1> and hope you will be satisfied with the main part of its contents. You would oblige me very much indeed if you would tell me your opinion about it.
I shall stay here for about a month longer, and am looking out for a new place as tutor in a family or some similar post. If, by any chance, you should hear of such a place, I should be very thankful if you let me know of it.
Believe me, Sir, to be most sincerely yours
Edward Meyer.
