Dear Mr Talbot
A cutting or two of the lovely Tacsonia Van Volxemi <1> will be most acceptable, I saw it for the first time the other day as a dinner table decoration & at first thought the lady of the house had been at the trouble of stringing the blossoms to make they gracefully pendant! the stems being so long.
Yrs very truly
F. Noel Mundy
Notes:
1. Tacsonia Van Volxemi. A native of South America, found in Bogota by the Belgium amateur Mr Van Volxem and brought back to Europe in 1858. It is similar to the passion flower.
