My dear Henry
I have this instant received your letter <1> on our return from Doncaster & am much too tired and stupid to say more than that Monday next is the day on which Mr & Mrs Mundy <2> hope to see you, as the music Meeting begins on Tuesday – if you come from Ashborne by any Coach, (the Mail comes into Derby from thence about 4 p.m) pray remember that there are plenty of Flies to be had which wd convey your Clothes &c&c here as it is only a mile – Don’t be frightened at the Tread Mill as Mr M. assures me it wo’nt hurt you! – at least not much if you fortify yr nerves properly.
