Gunton Park<1>
Norwich
My dear Henry
I have explained to Caroline <2> that our journey to Gunton was the cause of my most sincere Congratulations on her approaching marriage having been so long delayed. I was very much obliged to you for so kindly writing to tell me of it & must beg another line to say when it is likely to take place – Is it to be at Laycock or in London? pray do tell me all about it & whether it will be very soon or not. – Everything I have herd of Ld Valletort makes me think her a most fortunate woman but he is a still more lucky man for she is indeed a treasure. I have burnt my hand accidentally rather badly & therefore it pains me to write longer. I depend on hearing from you very soon.
Yr aff Cousin
