Ammongst all your congratulators <1> on this very happy occasion you will not have any more sincere than Mr Mundy <2> & me – We are very very delighted & earnestly pray your dearest little girl may be a blessing to you both.– How happy Constance must be! as I know by experience & if she is able to nurse (as I trust will be the case) will have even more enjoyment of her baby than I had of mine – My Father & Mother as well as Louisa <3> desire their most affectionate love & good wishes & my mother bids me add she will never Forgive you if you do not call it Ela she is so delighted at the idea of its having such a pretty as well as old name – I have already taught your Nephew <4> to say Ela quite plain all Ready against the introduction–.
