My dear Henry
I opine that you are returned from Bonchurch<1> so write to Lacock. I want you to let the accompanying Prospectus be seen at the Athenæum Club,<2> as I fancy some, at least, of its clever Members may have a turn for Archaeology & care for such things. Morley Church is a very curious one & its connection with Dale Abbey makes it interesting.<3> I think the work will be well done as Mr Fox<4> is a clever man, & feel interested in the success of the publication on that account. At any rate there is no harm done in asking whether you can execute my suggestion.
I was very much obliged by your answer to my queries. We must get the Book from which you quoted shortly.
Please give my love to Constance.<5> Having nothing to say I do not feel tempted to write to her, for literally I have not a pennyworth to impart!
Yr affte Cousin
Harriot Ga Mundy
Emily writes how pleased she & Noel<6> have been to have had such a nice glimpse of the Clarks, in London –
